WATCH: Arnold abseils down embankment to rescue black mamba

This was the fifth black mamba caught in the same home in the last five months.

SUNNINGDALE snake man recently rescued a mamba from a property in Verulam. This was the fifth time he had responded to a call-out on the same property in the past seven months.

What is more, all of the black mambas were captured in the same area. Arnold had to abseil down a steep embankment to capture the serpent, considered to be Africa’s deadliest snake.

“Four of the mambas were male and the fifth was a female. Because it’s mating season, they were all there for her. With the start of Spring, the next nine months will mean an increase in snake sightings.
