Unfortunately, snow had only been predicted in Kokstad and Matatiele in KwaZulu-Natal.

“Lesotho, Drakensberg and surrounding areas will receive snow but it looks as if the cold front will start to lose steam at this point and may not make it all the way into central Lesotho and to Sani Pass unfortunately.”

The South African Weather Service also predicted some colder weather for the weekend.

According to forecaster, Wayne Venter, said KZN will experience some light rain and cloudy conditions.
