Three injured in M4 crash

The accident occurred shortly after midnight.

THREE people were injured after a crash on the M4 near the Swapo Road (Broadway) turn-off in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, the crash involved two vehicles, one of which, rolled several times in the accident.

“Paramedics were called to the scene shortly after midnight. Reports from the scene indicate that a driver of a BMW, a 27 year old, lost control of her vehicle at high speed, sideswiping a Toyota Etios, before colliding with an Armco barrier and overturning several times, finally coming to a rest on its roof in the centre median.

“The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger of the Toyota sustained moderate injuries and were attended to on scene by Crisis Medical paramedics before being taken to hospital,” he said.
