WATCH: Elephant herd stop croc attack on baby

The video was shot at Malawi's Liwonde National Park.

A VIDEO of a crocodile attacking a baby elephant in Malawi’s Liwonde National Park has gone viral. The video has been viewed more than two million times. The video shows a herd of elephants at a watering hole when the crocodile strikes.

The video was uploaded by Alexander Makanga. As soon as the baby is bitten, the herd rushes in to stomp on the predator in an effort to loosen his grip. The baby elephant survived the ordeal but was later pictured with part of her trunk missing.
