Parks department puts out walker appeal

They have urged the rightful owners to come forward to claim the walker.

THE Durban North Parks Department has put out an appeal for the rightful owner to claim this walking frame which was dumped on The Drive recently. The frame which is brand-new was dumped in the bushes near the department’s Durban North offices. Busi Khumalo, who is a supervisor at the department said she noticed the item while walking to work on Wednesday last week.

“I couldn’t believe somebody had dumped it in the bushes. It’s brand new, it even has plastic on the middle bar of the frame. I thought that maybe thieves had dumped it after a house break-in and and not known what it was. We are urging the rightful owners to come forward to claim it back. We know how expensive equipment like this is,” she said.

If the walking frame belongs to you, contact 031 311 6975.
