Sharks unveil new Super Rugby kit

IN PICS: Sharks show off their new kit at fashion show.

THE Sharks launched their new home and away Super Rugby jerseys at a fashion show at Growthpoint Kings Park last night. The kits for the 2017 season saw some of the players taking to the catwalk to show off the new design and look.

The Sharks will wear the black version for home matches at Kings Park and the white jersey in their away fixtures. Each of the jerseys feature designs incorporating bananas, Sharks, Zulu warriors, shields and surfboards.

The design of the jerseys embodies the heritage and traditions of the Sharks and embraces the culture of KwaZulu-Natal.

In addition, the Sharks also revealed a superhero-themed jersey to be worn in aid of charity.

Durban mayor, Zandile Gumede, was also in attendance, and thanked The Sharks for their outreach programmes which saw the team visit various townships around Durban.
