Woman stabbed twice in N2 robbery

The suspects fled on foot into the nearby bushes alongside the N2.

A WOMAN was stabbed and robbed by armed suspects on the N2 (going south) earlier this morning. The incident occurred just after the uMhlanga off-ramp. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the 53-year-old was stabbed twice by her attackers and fled on foot into the bushes next to the freeway.

“She had broken down and had called for assistance when she was surrounded by the suspects. The men robbed her of her belongings and stabbed her in the back and upper arm. She was transported to hospital by Crisis Medical. We are currently searching for the suspect who fled into the nearby bushes,” he said.

Last month, Marshall Security arrested three suspects linked to a similar incident where a woman was stabbed and robbed on North Coast Road.
