“I’ve been involved in helping others organise an event but this was my first solo event, so it was a little stressful. Just before the show I had some cancellations but so many people stepped in to help which was amazing. My mom and sister were also awesome helping me on the day. I’m just so happy we were able to raise so much for Monkey Helpline and also highlighted the work Steve and Carol do in running the NPO.

“I’d just like to thank everyone who gave their time to be part of the event. We had a lot of young dancers and models participating and my goal is to see more young people get involved in fundraising events. I’m hoping to host make this an annual event, maybe next year we may try a Battle of the Bands scenario,” she said.
