A CONTROVERSIAL painting of Jacob Zuma by artist Ayanda Mabulu has created a Twitter storm. The latest painting depicts Zuma licking the rear end of Atul Gupta in the cockpit. The ‘sordid’ painting shows the duo in an aircraft adorned with the flags of the African National Congress (ANC).
His previous painting of the president, Spear Down My Throat (The Pornography of Power), depicted Zuma with his penis down a woman’s throat who the artist said represented the country.
Mabulu said his latest painting was a criticism of the president’s close relationship with the Guptas which has been the subject of much speculation.

I ain't a Zuma fan, but I can just imagine what my reaction would be if the same painting was done depicting my dad or my mom #AyandaMabulu

The last painting was rude but it is exactly what Zuma is doing.

I have nothing against the Zuma painting by #AyandaMabulu, I have NO energy to defend Zuma,I'd rather channel that energy to better my life

How do media, freedom & human rights advocates explain Ayanda Mabulu's Zuma's recent painting to their own kids?
