Delivery truck smashes into car in Redhill

No one was injured in a collision on Old North Coast Road.

TWO drivers were lucky to escape serious injury after a collision on Old North Coast Road early on Monday morning. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, police are investigating the cause of the accident.

“Our response officers attended the scene and a call was made for the assistance of a medical service provider. Despite extensive damage to the vehicles, no one sustained any serious injuries in the collision.

“Reports from the scene indicate that a delivery vehicle collided with a light motor vehicle, pushing it off the road before coming to a rest on the sidewalk,” he said.
