Man shot and killed on Queen Nandi
Paramedics say the man succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on scene.
A 40-YEAR-OLD man was killed after sustaining a gunshot wound on Queen Nandi Drive this morning. Paramedics say the man died on scene due to extensive injuries.
“When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the man lying on the side of the road with a life-threatening wound. Tragically, he died on scene due to the extensive injuries he sustained,” said Athlenda Mathe, spokesperson for Netcare.
Attempts to get hold of Greenwood Park Police for more information were unsuccessful.
Last week, a high-speed chase, which ended in crash along Queen Nandi Drive, led to the arrest of two suspects linked to a number of robberies in the greater Durban area.
