Durban North library, fostering a love for books

Entertainment galore for children at the Kensington Library.

Editor

THE Kensington Library hosted a children’s holiday club on Monday, 6 July and Wednesday, 8 July from 9am to 10am. The librarians went out of their way to plan fun-filled hours of entertainment. The children were kept busy making beaded bracelets, playing musical chairs, taking part in a treasure hunt and lots more. My children were absolutely thrilled and had a wonderful time. A big thank-you to Sharm and her team. We will definitely be back next holiday.

Reading and a love of books plays a crucial part in children’s success at school. We love coming to the library to get our books for the week. Thank you to the ladies who man the desks and make our visits so worthwhile.
