Car flips several times in Queen Nandi Drive accident
One of the men involved in the accident sustained a serious head injury.
FIVE men all believed to be in their thirties were injured, one of them seriously so, after the vehicle they were traveling in flipped several times on Queen Nandi Drive in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, when paramedics arrived they found all five of the men lying in the centre median.
“The men had freed each other from the wreckage. One of the men sustained a serious head injury and needed advanced life support. The other four men sustained serious but moderate injuries and were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals for further care,” he said.
It’s alleged that the vehicle was traveling in an easterly direction before careening into the opposite side of the road and flipping several times.
“The exact facts of the incident are unknown though and the local SAPS are investigating further,” van Reenen added.
