Pedestrian hit by numerous cars on N2 offramp
A man died when he was involved in a hit and run pedestrian accident on the N2 this morning.
IN A gruesome pedestrian accident a man was driven over by numerous cars after another vehicle had knocked him over on the N2 KwaMashu offramp just before 7am this morning.
ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring, said: “A man was killed early this morning when he was hit by multiple vehicles on the N2 near Avoca Hills.”
Meiring said when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the dismembered body of the patient lying across the highway.
The busy highway had to be closed for an hour to allow paramedics and other emergency services to clear the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not found on scene.
“Local authorities were on scene for further investigations,” Meiring added.
