Dolphin stadium undergoes upgrade

uShaka Marine World's dolphins will entertain visitors in a brand new stadium that is currently being built.

THERE is a special 10th birthday surprise in store for some of uShaka Marine World’s most loved residents, the Sea World dolphins.

Gambit, the largest dolphin in any oceanarium in the world, together with Afrika, Tombi. Khanya, Zulu, Kepie, Jula, Khwezi, Ingelosi and Khetiwe, can look forward to an all new dolphinarium.

Management at uShaka Marine World appealed to all visitors to Africa’s favourite marine theme park to bear with them during the revamp of this facility. It will be closed from 5 May for about six weeks.

Unfortunately, this means no full dolphin shows or penguin presentations. To make up for it and to ensure that you still get the most out of your visit to uShaka Sea World, there’s an exciting calendar of daily activities.
