“I became a blood donor at the age of 20,” he said.

Naidu said he never kept check on how many donations he had made, so when he heard that he had reached 100, he felt all warm and fuzzy.

“It was really good to know that I have donated blood more than 100 times, especially knowing that I am saving up to three lives each time,” said Naidu.

Before signing up, he said he spent some time researching the topic.

“I have spoken about my experience to others in the hope of recruiting more donors, but many people are apprehensive because of needles, yet there is nothing to be afraid of,” he said.

Naidu added that as long as he is able to donate blood, he will encourage others to do the same.
