Amashova Durban Classic is back on track

Cyclists can choose between a 38km, a 65km and a 106km route for the event on October 23.

ONLINE entries for the popular Amashova Durban Classic have now opened to everyone with a bike and a helmet.

The oldest, annual, classic road-cycling race in South Africa enjoys full road closure, and this year, it has returned to follow the famous ‘Comrades’ route from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.

Apart from the race being one of the oldest, it’s also one of the prettiest with picturesque and challenging routes that will see cyclists young and old, from beginners to advanced, participate in the 38km, 65km and 106km routes.

The Amashova is regarded as a great family event that encourages people to ride for a cause with a special ‘Charity Batch’ that people can enter.

Cyclists and spectators alike will get to enjoy a wonderful Lifestyle Expo at the Suncoast Globe as part of registration during the race weekend.

Online entries close on September 23, and late entries on the weekend of the race will still take place.
