Vehicle stolen in Eastern Cape recovered near Sunningdale

According to the company's spokesperson, Tyron Powell, the vehicle was missing its front number plates.

A VEHICLE stolen in Willowvale in the Eastern Cape in July was recovered at the weekend by Marshall Security.

The vehicle, a maroon Kia Sportage, was spotted on Umhlanga Rocks Drive by members of Marshall Security.

According to the company’s spokesperson, Tyron Powell, the vehicle was missing its front number plates.

“A vehicle check was conducted via the 10111 police call centre. It was established that the vehicle was wanted for a theft case and that the vehicle had been stolen in the Eastern Cape in July this year.

“Our members brought the vehicle to a stop on Umhlanga Rocks Drive near Sunningdale. The suspect and single occupant of the vehicle were arrested and handed over to Durban North SAPS for investigation,” he said.
