Three killed in Kenville shooting

Kyle van Reenen of DRK Tactical said he received reports of the shooting at approximately 9.20pm.

TWO men and one woman were shot in a house on Temple Drive in Kenville on Tuesday night.

Captain Nqobile Gwala, provincial spokesperson for the SAPS said charges of murder were opened for investigation at Greenwood Park SAPS.

“It is alleged that last night, at 8.05pm, an unknown suspect entered the house on Temple Road in Kenville while the occupants in the house were busy watching television. The suspect opened fire at the occupants in the house,” said Gwala.

She said three people sustained gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene.

“The motive for the killing is yet to be established,” added Gwala.

Kyle van Reenen of DRK Tactical said when they received the call, two people were dead and one was in a critical condition. 

“The third victim later passed away at the scene,” he said. 

Greenwood Park SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the case.
