North Durban team offers free counselling to frontline workers
All Covid-19 protocols will be in place during the counselling sessions.
Chantel Cromer-Wilson, a counsellor from the team said: “We get to know a lot of the frontline workers through other cases we work with. We see that this is a difficult time for them and we would love to offer them the support that they require during this difficult period.”
She said frontline workers include paramedics, police, nurses and doctors and their families
“We feel that the pandemic has also had an impact on frontline workers’ families and would also like to give them support as we know their family members are working longer hours than usual,” said Cromer-Wilson.
