Glenhills woman robbed at gunpoint in her home

The suspects fired shots as they fled the scene.

A WOMAN living in a cottage, on a Begonia Road property in Glenhills, was held up after four suspects entered her home.

According to Marshall Security, gunshots were fired as the suspects escaped after an armed robbery at approximately 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Marshall Security said the suspects stole electronic items and jewellery before taking the woman to the main house.

A message on a WhatsApp crime group alerted Marshall Security to the robbery.

“Our Reaction Officers and Special Operations Team were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival it was ascertained that four armed suspects had entered the property by climbing over the side wall and proceeded to a cottage on the premises,” said Marshall Security.

They added that the suspects did not get into the main house as the gate was locked, they fired shots as they fled the scene, but no one was injured during the robbery.
