Two arrested on M4 for housebreaking

Investigations are ongoing to link the men to various housebreaking cases in the area.

TWO housebreaking suspects arrested on the M4 Ruth First Highway in the early hours of Tuesday morning may be linked to various incidents in the Glenashley and Durban North areas.

The suspects were arrested by Blue Security and were found in possession of several housebreaking implements including side cutters, screwdrivers and other wire tools.

“The arrests were a result of the observant Durban North Tactical Officer who, while on patrol, spotted the suspects carrying various items,” Blue Security’s Durban North Tactical Ambassador said.

“A housebreaking incident had been reported to Blue Security in the early hours of the morning in the Glenashley area and our tactical officer doubled back to question the suspects.”
