Durban autism school celebrates women

The non-profit organisation provides support, learning and resources to autistic people, their caregivers and families.

PARKHILL  school, Action in Autism (AIA) will honour autistic women and their mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and caregivers during Women’s Month with a tea party fundraiser.

The Wild and Wacky Tea Party will be held at the AIA centre on Saturday, 24 August from 2pm to 4.30pm featuring music duo Sonny Skies, with Sibo Mensa on lead vocals and Sandile Ndokweni on guitar.

Inspired by their appreciation of Jazz, RnB and Soul, the duo is known for their catchy covers as well as their original compositions.

Along with the music, attendees will enjoy a high tea and relaxing mini manicures, pedicures and shoulder massages. Guests are invited to dress to express their most wonderful, wacky self and the best dressed will win a prize.
