Comedic couple take the stage after devastating house fire

Despite the couple's Durban North home being gutted in a fire less than two weeks ago, the show still went on last night.

COMEDIC actors, Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert are back on the stage after a devastating fire destroyed their Durban North home on 6 July.

Durban theatre goers turned out in droves for MacBob’s acclaimed musical comedy, Bloopers which kicked off its Elizabeth Sneddon season last night before a packed house.

Audiences enjoyed every moment as the duo perform one of their all-time funniest shows.

These multi-award winning legends boldly go where no intelligent person should, tackling subjects such as cultural appropriation, landfills, land grabs, hand grabs, cannabis oil and the ridiculous things humans get up to – all with a rocking musical back beat.

Catch Bloopers at The Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre until 28 July. Shows times are 7.30pm (Tuesdays to Saturdays) and 3pm (Sundays). Seats are R165 per person.
