THE globally acclaimed Michael Jackson tribute show – Michael Jackson HIStory – is back in Durban for the festive season. The show is brought to South Africa by Showtime Management Australia and plays out at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom’s iZulu Theatre from 14 December 2018 until 6 January.

Michael Jackson HIStory is a spellbinding musical biography that takes fans on a nostalgic journey of all of his greatest songs. Hit after hit tells the story of one of the greatest pop icons the world has ever known. The star of the show is one of the world’s best Jackson impersonators, Dantantio.

He will be accompanied by a lively six-piece band, backup dancers and a phenomenal lighting and effects team which will help amp up the experience for fans.

The show features 40 different customised costumes, 20 of which are for the Michael Jackson character alone. Over 100 hours have been dedicated to the lighting design, which makes use of more than 160 moving lights and over 2000 lighting cues, arranged to punctuate and enhance the musical elements of the show.

Performances include Billie Jean, Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Man in the Mirror, Black or White, Bad, ABC, Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough, Human Nature, Ben and many more.

Selling out shows in South Africa, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and the United States, this international success is a show not to be missed.

The show takes place daily, including a special show on New Year’s Eve. Tickets are on sale at Computicket and the Sibaya Box Office.
