Break bad habits with Sister Act

FROM Tuesday, 26 June to Sunday, 1 July, the musical comedy, Sister Act comes to Durban. Running at The Playhouse Company, the show focuses on the experiences of nightclub singer, Deloris Van Cartier, after she witnesses her thug boyfriend, Curtis Jackson, murder one of his cronies.

Can Deloris keep her big voice and even bigger personality under wraps or will she bring glitz, glamour and dangerous attention to the church choir? The musical production Deloris is forced to hideout somewhere where Curtis will never think to look… a convent!

Sister Act features the talented cast and crew of Northcliff High School — but don’t let that put you off, Northcliff High is well known for its extremely high calibre of productions, and has never disappointed audiences over the years.

Acclaimed theatre producer/director, Nick Jourdan, now a full-time staff member at Northcliff, has been producing Northcliff’s stage productions for the past 36 years and his expertise have given rise to some well-known South African performers.Tickets range between R50 and R110 and are available at Computicket.
