Totalsports women’s race entries open

Each entrant will receive a fitted event T-shirt and an exclusive finisher’s head scarf.

THIS July and August women are encouraged to ‘Run United’ at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town in support of Pink Drive. Entries have now opened.

“The Totalsports Women’s Race aims to unite women from all walks,” says Craig Lamb, head of Totalsports.  “We run for various reasons – for strength, to feel, to fight or to achieve something greater. Irrespective of the reason, we invite all women to ‘run united’ in the build up to and on Women’s Day.  Join us in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town as we take action in support of Pink Drive and raise awareness around breast cancer.”

The Durban event which includes a 5km and a 10km will takes place on Sunday, 22 July at Kings Park Athletics Track.

The race will also be supporting PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education. PinkDrive will be present at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban offering free clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self- breast examinations.

Instore Entries will be accepted from Friday, 4 May  to Friday 1 June at the following Totalsports Stores:  Cavendish Women, Canal Walk Women, Sandton, Maponya, Cresta Women, Carlton, Prichard, Eastgate, Gateway, Westville Pavillion and Menlyn.

Each entrant will receive a fitted event T-shirt, an exclusive finisher’s head scarf, on-route entertainment and a live performance by a well-known South African artist.
