“I received a call from the legendary Hugh Masekela, to join his band on a full time basis. I immediately flew to the USA and Europe for a tour. Every three to six months we were out of the country performing overseas.

Countries and cities I have toured are too many to mention. That was the beginning of bigger things. In no time, word of mouth spread all over Johannesburg about the new bassist in town,” he explained.

Stars like Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman, Judith Sephuma, Caiphus Semenya and Letta Mbulu, Austin (USA), Keiko Matsui (Japan) have used his services as a studio session musician, live performer and songwriter.

In 2006 Senyatso released his debut album, All of Me and received two SAMA nominations. In 2007 he recorded and toured Japan with Keiko Matsui with her Moyo project.
