A MOTORIST in the Kruger National Park had a close call with a white rhino who charged his vehicle. The video, which was uploaded to the Kruger National Park YouTube account, has been viewed more than 47 000 times. The clip was captured earlier this month.
The clip starts with pachyderm lumbering alongside the road with vehicles nervously trying to pass by. Suddenly, the rhino charges towards the closest car. The driver accelerates, narrowly missing the charging rhino and a nearby vehicle.
The park said: “Shortly after charging towards the white car in the beginning of the video, the rhino charged towards the grey Audi and nearly smashes into it. The exact location can’t be given due to the ongoing poaching issues.”
