LISTEN-N2 remains closed following high-speed chase, shootout

Traffic is being redirected but is still heavily backed up according to Marshall Security.

POLICE are continuing their search for three heavily armed suspects who were involved in a high-speed chase and fatal shootout this afternoon on the N2 near the Queen Nandi Drive off-ramp. Two suspects were killed in the incident, while a third suspect was arrested. The suspects attempted to ram the police off the road.

According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the N2 is still closed to traffic as it was being treated as a crime scene. It is now believed the N2 northbound has also been affected. Here’s what he had to say:
