Accident leaves biker in serious condition, eMdloti
The accident occurred at around 1pm along the M4 southbound carriageway.
A MOTORCYCLIST is in a serious condition after reportedly hitting a road reflector. The accident happened at around 1pm today, said Netcare 911 spokesperson, Chris Botha.
He said, “The incident occurred on the M4 southbound carriageway by eMdloti. Reports from the scene indicate that the biker was travelling toward uMhlanga when his motorcycle hit a cat’s eye in the middle of the road, causing him to fall.”
Botha went on to say that the forty year-old man, was found lying on the ground with serious injuries by paramedics. The patient was stabilised on-scene before being transported to an uMhlanga hospital for further care.
