Tremor rocks Durban, Twitter freaks out

Shake, rattle and roll, did you feel the tremor?

SOCIAL media is aflutter after an earth tremor struck Durban with reports streaming in from residents living in the CBD, Berea, Morningside and even uMhlanga. The tremor which lasted around a minute is the third to hit KZN after a 3.1 tremor magnitude tremor in February last year.

Reports suggest people have run out of buildings in Durban following the tremor. We are also hearing that high rise apartments on the Durban beachfront felt the tremor.

The hashtag #DurbanTremor began trending on Twitter shortly after the shake. Here’s how social media reacted:
