Show your love for wildlife at medieval fundraiser

Funds raised at the medieval feast will go towards CROW’s vital work.

THE Centre For Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) will be hosting a medieval feast fundraiser on Tuesday, 14 February at Greensleeves, Medieval Kingdom in Hillcrest at 7pm.

On your arrival at Greensleeves, you will be ushered to the changing quarters where you will get dressed in traditional medieval attire. You have the option to be a bishop, monk, jester, knight, lady or wench for the evening.

Sharl Els, CROW’s marketing and communications officer, said the last medieval feast in March 2014 was well supported.  “The feast is a great way to kick off what promises to be an exciting year for CROW. We are looking forward to hosting yet another medieval feast,” said Els.

Guests will be served by wenches and lackeys dressed in Elizabethan period costume while enjoying a four-course meal in true medieval style. The price is R350 per person or R3,000 for a table of 10 or more. Cost for the event includes a four course meal and costume hire. A cash bar will be available.

There will be live entertainment and loads of prizes up for grabs on the evening. For bookings,  contact Jacelyn Zwart on 031-462-1127 or email fundraiser@crowkzn.co.za.

Funds raised at the medieval feast go towards CROW’s vital work to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife.
