Company: A first-of-its-kind stage play in Durban
The audience will be in for a treat at the premiere of the ''Company'' musical comedy.
Stephen Sondheim’s musical comedy, Company will be staged for the first time on South African soil at Durban’s Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from nine to 21 April.
The play will feature a star-studded cast with actors like Bryan Hiles, multi-award-winning actress, Charon Williams-Ros, and Jessica Sole.
The musical comedy explores the quirks and contradictions of modern love while offering a funny and witty flare.
Rebecca Ballenger describes Company, as a groundbreaking modern musical that is mature, and offers a funny look at relationships, vulnerability, and “being alive.”
The play will feature musical hit numbers Being Alive, the iconic Ladies Who Lunch, Marry Me a Little, I’m Not Getting Married Today, Barcelona, Side by Side, You Could Drive a Person Crazy, and Another Hundred People. The selected hits and groundbreaking musicals ascertain a night to remember.
Performances will start at 7 pm Tuesday to Saturday, 2.30 pm on Saturday, and 4 pm on Sunday.
