January 10 – January 15 – Get whisked away on a magic carpet ride with KickstArt Theatre’s magical pantomime, Aladdin at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on the UKZN campus in Durban. Performances are at 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday, 11am and 3.30pm on Saturday, and 2.30pm on Sunday. Tickets range from R150 to R265. Book through Webtickets.

January 15 – Dolphin Coast Striders’ Kickstart Programme

January 28 – The annual bridal fair at Maroupi, a wedding venue on the outskirts of Ballito from 10am to 2pm. Find your wedding suppliers, tour the venue, and enjoy a day of wedding planning in a beautiful setting. Register at sabridalfairs.co.za.
