Ballito set for epic week of music

It follows the success of the first Ballito Big Week last year which drew big crowds of locals and holidaymakers alike.

Get ready for a live music extravaganza as some of South Africa’s biggest artists take to Ballito this festive season.

Five nights of packed music action will be hosted at Sugar Rush Park as part of the ‘Ballito Big Week’ and ‘KZN Summer’ events between December 22 and New Year’s Eve.

It follows the success of the first Ballito Big Week last year which drew big crowds of locals and holidaymakers alike.

So who can you expect to see over the next two weeks?

Ballito Big Week:
December 22 – DJ Shimza headlines the first night with Blxckie, Sun-El Musician and a host of other performers in support.
December 26 – Black Coffee returns to Ballito along with Caiiro and Enoo Napa.
December 29 – The last Big Week branded event sees Major League DJZ, DBN Gogo and Dlala Thukzin take the stage.

KZN Summer:
December 27 – With a larger focus on live music, KZN Summer welcomes Jeremy Loops, Will Linley and GoodLuck for its first evening.
December 31 – Who better to ring in the New Year with than Goldfish, who will be joined by Neon Dreams and the Saxby Twins.

Tickets can be found via the websites and general access will cost you between R300 and R500.
