From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

Whether you find live concerts or joining a local community organisation more to your fancy is completely up to you, but rest assured that with The North Coast Courier’s What’s Up On the North Coast events diary your chances of missing an event are pretty much zero.

14 December – Carols at Sunset at Linc Church in Salt Rock. Picnics, live music, food on sale, kids’ craft corner and more. R100 per car and R50 to enter the Kids Zone. Tickets on sale at the entrance.

14-16 December – Comedian Carvin H Goldstone’s new one-man show titled “Fellow South Africans” at the iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino. Tickets at R200 can be purchased at Pick n Pay or Webtickets.

15 December – 29 December – Litchi Festival at Verbara Estate. The estate, about 10km up Glendale Road via Shakaskraal, has 850 trees that are almost 40 years old. Daily picking times are from 9am-3pm, and entry is R160 per person. Babies get in free and tots aged two to three only pay R50. You are allowed to eat as many litchis as you like and take home up to 1.6kg. Tractor rides are included and R100 secures you an extra bag of litchis to take home. No picking will take place between December 24-25. Food on sale. No bags or cooler boxes will be allowed into the picking area.
