Brettenwood Golf Day nets R100K for CROW

Putting for a good cause.

The recent Brettenwood Estate charity golf day raised a whopping R100 000 for the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).

Hosted at Umhlali Country Club last month, the event attracted more than 100 golfers who came ready to shoot the lights out and open their pockets for a good cause.

Ready for action – Devon de Langa, Robert Adams, Grant Gibson and Gregory Simmons.

The teams went to work after teeing off in a shotgun start, and it was the foursome of Debbie Meyer, Ailsa Drummond, Glenda Hickman and Paddi Reich who reigned supreme.

But the fundraising aspect was the most important part of the day, as residents and friends rallied for the wildlife organisation in Durban.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our Charity Golf Day – participants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters,” said Brettenwood marketing and events manager, Samantha Subban.

Desmond Moodley, Revin Mizen, Derrick Pillay, Keven Moodley, Henk Bekke and Craig Burden.

“Your generosity and dedication have made a tangible difference in the lives of others, embodying the spirit of giving that defines our community at Brettenwood.”

Subban thanked title sponsor Fidelity ADT for their help in making the day a success.
