The Dolphin Coast Residents and Ratepayers Association’s (Docrra) executive committee was re-elected at last Thursday’s annual general meeting at the Simbithi Country Club.

Deon Viljoen also retained his position as chairman.

Viljoen and executive committee members Brian Botes and Stephan Marais gave presentations on topics ranging from municipal finances, Siza Water and the KDM electricity department, as well as detailing Docrra’s current projects.

Docrra announced that following successful negotiations, they will be meeting with KDM executives on a quarterly basis to discuss and collaborate on critical issues facing Dolphin Coast residents.

“This took years of relationship building, and we are looking forward to some robust engagement moving forward,” said Viljoen.
