Miss Ballito finalists impress judges ahead of October finale

Contestants fire first shots to gain the edge at glitzy event.

The nine Miss Ballito finalists dazzled the judges in a night filled with high fashion and fierce competition at the competition’s annual cocktail party last week.

The Miss Ballito judges – Josha Daniel, Andile Pieterson, Shan Fourie and Divesh Patel.

With the finals scheduled for October 24, judges Josha Daniel, Andile Pietersen, Shan Fourie and Dinesh Patel had their work cut out for them as each beauty took to the stage to showcase why they deserve this year’s crown.

Vying for the crown are Khethiwe Dhlamini, Gabriella Ferreira, Kwanele Khoza, Cara Nigrini, Alexia Minnie, Yuvika Govender, Chané van der Westhuizen, Georgia de Ponselle, and Annabelle Pillay.

The pageant, a Rotary Zimbali fundraising initiative, is not only about glitz and glamour but searches for young women who are agents of positive change.

During the event, the contestants introduced their sponsors, with the funds raised to be distributed to Rotary-approved charities, including The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.

The stage is set, and all roads now lead to the official crowning event next month.
