Durban Virginia Airshow returns with thrilling aerobatics and top pilots this weekend

The event features top South African aviation performers, ground exhibits, food stalls, and entertainment.

The skies above Virginia Airport will be filled with ace pilots hurling their magnificent flying machines into all kinds of dangerous manoeuvres on Saturday.

The 2024 Durban Virginia Airshow, which returned last year after a 10-year hiatus, will offer a thrill a minute.

The line-up will feature some of South Africa’s best aviation performers, along with ground exhibits, food and refreshment stalls and other entertainment.

Prepare for amazing aerial displays.

Highlights on the day will include performances by five-time South African aerobatics champion Patrick Davidson of the Marksmen aerobatic team, three-time SA champion Scully Levin, Tristan Eeles and aerobatic helicopter pilot Juba Joubert.

Gates open at 8.30am and tickets cost R140 for adults and R100 for children under 18, available at Ticketpro or at the gate.

Aerobatic helicopter pilot Juba Joubert will be one of the main attractions.
