Ballito welcomes a meaty new addition to the restaurant scene

This is the popular franchise's fourth location from its original Florida Road beginnings.

The Butcher Boys, one of Durban’s best loved restaurant franchises, have expanded their reach to Ballito.

Butcher Boys @Ballito was launched at the Ballito Steps centre near Willard Beach last Friday, with friends, family and members of the media getting a sneak peek in the days prior.

It is the franchise’s fourth location, joining the original Florida Road restaurant, a branch in Umhlanga and one further afield in Meyersdal, near Johannesburg.

There is plenty in common across the four restaurants, of course, but primarily they are united in their love for well sourced and perfectly cooked meat.

Enjoying the evening were Charl and Vasti Mcleod and Tash and Andre Barnard.

Butcher Boys @Ballito is no different, offering a wide variety in their cuts of beef and your choice on how they were aged, be it wet or dry.

You can even see the ageing process in person, with a cold room visible from most of the restaurant floor.

If that is not your bag, however, the large 120-seater restaurant gives you plenty of options with multiple outside and inside seating areas.

See it for yourself, on Ballito Steps’ middle floor with direct access from Dolphin Crescent and from the underground parking.
