Festival fun: Ashton Ballito celebrates art and community

From sushi making to symphony performances.

Ashton International College recently came alive with creativity and excitement during the annual Ashton Arts Festival, where Senior College pupils showcased their talents in art, music, dance, and drama. The campus was buzzing with activity as pupils and guests engaged in artistic workshops and performances.

The sushi making workshops were both challenging and fun.

A standout moment of the day was the performance by the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring some of Ashton’s very own students. The festival offered something for everyone, with workshops ranging from sushi making and biscuit icing to Teepee crafting and the popular paint and sip session. Guests of all ages participated, making the day a vibrant celebration of artistic talent and community spirit.
“Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event a memorable celebration of artistic talent and community spirit.”
