What to do in Ballito this weekend

From live performances by Qadasi and Maqhinga at The Market to the Ballito Junction women's run, there is something for everyone.

1 August – Soak up the vibe. Connect with your tribe at First Thursdays at The Studios. Enjoy an evening of late night shopping and live music with Afritude from 5.30pm. Various food and drinks specials.

2 August – Enjoy sundowners at Eat Street from 4pm-6pm and enjoy chilled DJ vibes with Katie La Femme. Winston Smile will be performing at Eat Street from 6.30pm-9.30pm.

3 August : Catch Qadasi and Maqhinga at The Market from 1pm-3pm and Quiet Storm at Eat Street from 6.30pm-9.30pm.

– Third annual Women’s Month 5km community fun run at Ballito Junction at 7am. R150 per runner.

4 August : Enjoy Calli Thomson from 10.30am-12.30pm at The Market. Afritude will be performing at Eat Street from 1pm-4pm.

– Mid-winter classics with Christopher Duigan in concert at All Souls Anglican Church at 3pm.

7 August – Umhlali and District Garden and Flower Club meeting at All Souls Anglican Church (9.30am), featuring instructive talks by Augnette van Zijl on roses and Vincent Lourenco of Grovida Nursery in Durban North. 20-27 August – Sri Ramakrisha Jyoti invites the public to their annual Gita Week celebrations (6.30pm), at Sanctuary Oneness Ashram, Sheffield Beach Road, Umhlali, Supper will be provided daily, All welcome.
