Mandela Day: Planting seeds of nutrition at Endunduzweni Community Care Centre

The North Coast Courier, Get It magazine, and Orphan Fund planted a vegetable and herb garden in Melville.

The Get It magazine, North Coast Courier team and the North Coast Courier Orphan fund all came together to commemorate Mandela Day by planting seeds of nutrition at Endunduzweni Community Care Centre in Melville last Friday.

Volunteers work on the garden.

This collaborative effort will contribute to the well-being of over 100 children who rely on the centre for their daily meals.

Volunteers planted a variety of vegetables, including cabbage and spinach, along with herbs and a flower garden.

The seeds planted were generously donated by Zululand Nursery.

Seeds planted included a variety of vegetables.
