CFCI Ballito maintains momentum behind tornado relief

The church has set up a dedicated outreach initiative.

A Ballito church has launched a dedicated outreach initiative named Izandlo Zothando (Hands that Care) to support Tongaat’s tornado victims.

Covenant Fellowship Church International (CFCI) aims to restore damaged residences and school buildings, provide vital supplies such as clothing and blankets, and ensure that affected pupils receive necessary school uniforms and stationery once schools reopen.

The outreach has already made significant strides, particularly at Nkosibomvu Secondary School and Mbonisweni Primary School. Using the Tongaat Unjani Clinic as a distribution hub, CFCI Ballito has been methodically distributing aid, ensuring transparency and community engagement throughout the process.

As efforts intensify, the church has extended invitations for public participation. Donations of food, clothing, and educational supplies can be dropped off at designated locations, with additional opportunities to contribute at local events such as the Ballito Farmers Market and Sunday fellowships.
