Ballito’s Melissa Landman was crowned Miss KwaZulu-Natal at the pageant ceremony held at the Pumpkin Theatre, La Montage on June 16.
The 22-year-old beauty is no stranger to the modelling scene. She also won the 2022 Miss Ballito pageant and is the owner of Simply Models, where she shares her expertise with young girls.
“As the owner of Simply Models, my win serves to inspire my students to keep working hard towards their goals in the modelling industry. It reminds me that we all have a responsibility to lead others to become their best selves and to look after one another with love and confidence,” she said.
The annual provincial pageant is involved in many charitable projects and this year’s finalist donations went towards Tongaat relief efforts following the recent damaging storm.
