Ballito Photo Club’s best June competition photos
Haydn Mc Clure wins junior photo prize.
The Ballito Photo Club’s June competition’s set subject “Self Portrait” was won by Denita Lawrence with her image titled “Mirror Me”.
Avril Eshmade claimed the overall senior category prize, with Haydn Mc Clure taking the overall junior honours.
The category winners were:
• Mono – John Louw: “Vulture on the Prowl”.
• Nature (no birds) – Avril Eshmade: “Caught in the Spotlight”.
• Nature (birds only) – Haydn Mc Clure: “Num Num Num”.
• Photojournalism – Alan Nixon: “Getting the Snip”.
• Colour Open – John Louw: “Vulture in Flight”.
• Scapes – Willem Delport: “Lonely trout fisherman”.
• Set subject (Self Portrait) – Denita Lawrence: “Mirror Me”.
• Visual Art – Nicola Paul: “Spring Bright”.
