Mobile libraries gifted to Buffelsdale Primary

The Zimbali Estate and Yusuf Karodia foundations partnered to make the donation possible.

Buffelsdale Primary School pupils in Tongaat have been given the gift of imagination.

Through a partnership with the Zimbali Estate Foundation and Yusuf Karodia Foundation, the school gratefully received a donation of two mobile libraries last week.

Each mobile library carries dozens of age appropriate books, each one a window into a new world for the youngsters who pick up a copy.

The mobile libraries contain dozens of books.

The libraries are mobile, as the name suggests, and can be wheeled from classroom to classroom as necessary while their size makes them convenient to store.

Buffelsdale Primary principal Krish Ramchunder thanked both foundations for their efforts.

“The libraries will encourage, entertain and inspire young minds,” he said.

“You never know which book may serve as the key to opening up new horizons for a child.”
