A head-on collision on the R614 in Tongaat this morning left 11 people injured.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Samantha Meyrick, two of the injured were found to be in a critical condition and were stabilised at the scene.
The remaining nine patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. All have been transported to various healthcare facilities for further treatment.
Earlier an IPSS Medical Rescue ambulance responding to this incident was also involved in a collision.
No further information was available. Police are investigating.
